Day 3.5

This post is just to recap what we've been thinking in terms of the project, and what I've done outside of school. We finished the transposition of the music for all of the pep band instruments, and after Matthys makes a few tweaks, we should be able to play it at the first home football playoff game, and all of the games during the basketball season. We're considering having everyone in the band chant the first part, then go into playing, like they do in the real song. Also, for the basketball games (and maybe playoffs), I figured out the electric guitar in the beginning, which will make a fantastic addition. Dev and I figured out the electric bass part, which adds a deep and solid tone to the back of the song. Now we just need to tab in the guitar part (maybe), and work on getting everybody to learn how to play it. After completion of this project, I was looking at some other possible songs (Paradise by Coldplay, maybe) to transpose and do a multi-track cover for band instruments with Dev and Irene.
